Donation Requests

Sparrow Bar + Cookshop offers four kinds of donations for auction items. These are available to 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. Note, three of the four options have a cost associated with them.

a $50 gift card

We are happy to donate a Gift Card valued at $50 to your 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. These are on a first come, first served basis, limited to two organizations per month. You will be required to submit a copy of your Letter of Determination which includes the Employer Identification Number. Request a $50 Gift Card.

daytime Cooking demonstration for up to 30 with chef monica pope at sparrow bar + cookshop

Up to 30 guests can watch Chef Monica Pope, upstairs in The Cookshop, as she demonstrates the preparation of two dishes with tastes of each dish. Two volunteers from the audience will help her during the demonstration, and all guests will be able to taste both dishes. Includes water and iced tea. Additional food and beverages are available for an additional charge to the auction winner.

Must be scheduled at least three weeks in advance, subject to Chef Monica's availability. Only available for redemption before 3:00pm on Tuesdays through Saturdays. Expires six months from the auction date.

We require your 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to pay a fee for this event service. Most non-profit organizations are able to find a sponsor to cover this fee. We recommend a starting auction bid of at least twice the item cost. Typically, these items sell at auction for five times their cost. Payment of this fee is due at the time of request, your auction winner will use this credit as full payment for their event. You will be required to submit a copy of your Letter of Determination which includes the Employer Identification Number.

Request a Daytime Cooking Demonstration

private evening dinner and cooking demonstration for up to ten with chef monica pope at sparrow bar + cookshop

Ten guests join Chef Monica Pope, upstairs in The Cookshop, for a private cooking demonstration and seated dinner. Monica will prepare and serve a five course local market dinner, including a sommelier selected wine pairing with each course. Two volunteers from the audience will help her during the demonstration. Includes water, iced tea and wine pairings. Additional food and beverages are available for an additional charge to the auction winner.

Request a Private Evening Dinner and Cooking Demonstration

Up to 40 guests will join Chef Monica Pope in the Main Dining Room at Sparrow Bar + Cookshop for an unforgettable family style supper. This dinner will include two to three appetizers, a family style supper, sommelier selected specialty cocktail, beer and wine, water and iced tea. Additional food and beverages are available for an additional charge to the auction winner.
